This STARTUP Labs session serves as an introduction to the fundamental differences between a high growth startup and a traditional small business. It will explain how startups can scale to massive value and investigate some of the key strategies for laying the necessary foundation for this growth. Topics to be covered include: Telling Your Story, Mission & Vision Definition, Revenue Models, Cost/Profit Models, Go-To-Market Strategies. This class will be taught by Erik Pavia, Entrepreneur in Residence at the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation. Erik has a BBA from UT El Paso and a law degree from Stanford University. He is the founder of Pantheon and an adjunct professor at UTEP where he teaches a business law course focused on new tech ventures.
