Latinitas, a local non-profit organization, is hosting Start Up Chica Conference on April 21 at the Southwest University. The conference focuses on teaching, inspiring, and encouraging Latina youth to enter the business world. Participants will have the opportunity to create a product with the guidance of female business professionals. They will also learn how entrepreneurs develop and patent ideas, work the market and sell their products.
