Join the El Paso Chamber of Commerce for a discussion featuring State Representative & State Senator Elect César Blanco, El Paso Electric, El Paso Water, Marathon, and Texas Gas Service. They will be discussing the role of shared-value and the how the energy industry impacts El Paso’s economy.

What is “shared value”? The term “shared value” originally appeared in a 2011 Harvard Business Review article and refers to business strategies that are designed to balance business priorities alongside social issues. Rather than addressing only business or only activism, the concept of shared value focuses on the ways in which they can productively collaborate, such that business operations are designed to produce favorable outcomes for the larger—sometimes even global—community.
