James Robert Murphy, aka Austin Fim Murphy will present “The ART of being an Author”.
This is the third in a continuing series in the Art of the Arts. Jim will talk about his diverse books (he has published five in a short period of time), his writing techniques and how he has achieved a successful level of sales. He will also share his experiences as a musician and songwriter. Jim is the principal founder and 12-year manager of the New York State Blues Festival and the Guinness Irish Festival, both held in Syracuse, NY. In 2004 he moved to El Paso as the Managing Director for the El Paso Opera, then he served as the Director of Development for the El Paso Museum of History until his recent retirement. He also brought us the El PasoBlues and Jazz Festival for two years.
