Dr. Will Guzman, Assistant Professor within the Department of History and African American Studies at FAMU and author of the book, Civil Rights in the Texas Borderlands: Dr. Lawrence A. Nixon and Black Activism (2015) will talk about the early Civil Rights organizations; NAACP and the Southern Conference for Human Welfare in El Paso, TX.
