The Latinas in Progress Education Series aims to familiarize senior high school Latinas with college and equip them with the means to succeed in their personal and professional life. The LIP Education Series consists of five learning sessions, volunteer opportunities, and a mentorship component. The sessions are taught at partner colleges and community centers one Saturday a month during the school year from January to May. Latinas in Progress also exposes the participants to professional women who share their stories of overcoming adversity achieving higher education, and their professional success. The sessions provide enriching learning experiences and access to opportunities, information, financial resources, and exposure to universities. Members who complete at least 5 workshops and 10 hours of community service are eligible to apply for a college scholarship. To learn more, contact us at or 915.219.8554.
