Join us at the El Paso Museum of Archaeology for an afternoon of painting with artist Lizzie Ochoa! This hands-on workshop will allow participants to create their very own landscape painting of the beautiful surroundings outside of the museum. This workshop is open to all skills levels. You will be taught the basics of painting techniques and guided through creating an interesting painting! Seating is limited to 12 participants; pre-registration is encouraged.

Ms. Ochoa recently joined the El Paso Museum of Art as the librarian at the Algur H. Meadows Art Library. She received her B.A. in Art with Cum Laude honors from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and a Master’s of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of North Texas. She is also a professional artist (portraits, murals, illustration, photography, graphic design, interior decor projects, wax figures /sculpted portraits and media production). Her work is featured in national and international collections. As an art educator, she conducts art related workshops for children, teens and adults. She is currently training as a forensic artist of two-dimensional and three-dimensional facial reconstructions.
