Get ready to craft like they did in the late 1800’s! From making kaleidoscopes to knitting, kids will learn how people passed their time and created useful and beautiful objects that enriched their daily lives. Attendees will not only learn the history of crafting, but also the science and math behind it all. Kids will be both challenged and rewarded, as they will have their very own hand-crafted artifacts to take home! Please provide kids with a sack lunch and dress them in clothing suitable for crafting. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
