Viva La Frida! Join us in honoring the life and legacy of one of Latin America’s most influential artists. HWNT is proud to present its 2nd annual Frida Fest event on November 4th from 4-10pm with a focus on Dia de Los Muertos. Come out and enjoy a beautiful evening with us at Joe Vinny & Bronsons Bohemian Cafe (824 N. Piedras). Frida Kahlo inspired art by local artists will be auctioned and local vendors will be on site. From 6-8pm, guests are invited to participate in a calavera art class with $25 tickets including a canvas, instructions and supplies. This festival unites the community through creative expression by collaborating with local artists to pay tribute to a cultural and feminist icon. The event will featured Frida Kahlo Inspired Arts & Crafts, a Dia de Los Muertos altar, Art Exhibition, Vendor Booths, Silent Auction & Raffle and Frida Look-Alike Contest.
