Join us for a day long celebration of everything autumn! From the history of agriculture and harvests to food and crafts, every hour offers a new opportunity to explore the bounty of harvest wonders in El Paso. There will a grounds tour every hour where we will discuss the Magoffin fruit orchards, irrigation, and how the railroads affected land use. At designated times, we offer free lessons on how to make corn tortillas, corn husk dolls, cornucopias or horns-of-plenty, and leaf art. There will also be a special cooking class offered for how to make an historic chicken tamales recipe for a fee of $5 per person. Whether you love the fall or are just trying to understand the people in your life who do, we have a full day planned for learning about why autumn deserves some love.
