El Paso Live and Dubow House Creative Services are excited to announce the inaugural El Paso Ice Cream Festival on Sunday, July 3 at Cohen Stadium from 4pm until 10pm. The massive ice cream party takes place as summer festivities continue at the stadium in Northeast El Paso.
This family-friendly Independence Day Weekend celebration will feature a wide variety of ice cream flavors to sample, savor and enjoy from local and national favorites- including Price’s, Ben & Jerry’s, Good Humor, Breyers and La Michoacana. Price’s Creameries will also host the Price’s Ice Cream Super Sampler area where guests will have access to build their own sundaes and taste test an assortment of flavors with their super sampler ticket.
Local ice cream vendors will be on-hand throughout the stadium serving a huge variety of flavors to create dozens of unique creations for every palate. On the field, the “Ice Cream Gardens” will overflow with desserts, along with some of the best food trucks from around the region.
Festivities throughout the day will include live music and entertainment, play areas, jumping balloons, a variety of contests- including the Homemade Ice Cream Contest, where attendees will showcase their flavors for our expert ice cream panel of judges- as well as a host of other activities for both adults and children to “chill out” for the day.
The evening will close out at 10:00 PM, with the RED, WHITE and BOOM! fireworks display as they light up the night’s sky in celebration of Independence Day. (That’s right- fireworks are returning to the northeast!)
