El Paso, are you ready to celebrate our beautiful Earth!

Join us on Saturday April 20th from 10am to 4pm at the El Paso Museum of History as we join forces for a day full of free workshops for the entire family, local shopping, great eats and exhibitors with resources on how to be more environmentally sound. The DAFM will move its operations that day to Cleveland Square Park located directly adjacent to the El Paso Museum of History. The Museum of History will have its doors open throughout the event and invites our community to witness the vast history of our surrounding region. Classrooms inside the museum will all have different workshops which are free to the public.

Kalavera Culture Shop will be having live street art demonstrations throughout the event using environmentally sustainable spray paint.

The public is invited to upload photographs of their loved ones to the museum’s Digie Wall at Digie.org and view them during the celebration. Outdoors and indoors you will find over local vendors with earth day related items, food trucks, local nonprofit organizations, live entertainment and free yoga at the El Paso Museum of History Patio.

Event sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts We encourage visitors to park and ride public transit, which reduces your carbon footprint. The Sun Metro Brio and El Paso Streetcar have stops at our event. Visit http://www.sunmetro.net/routes/routes-and-schedules to plan your trip.
