DUST OFF YOUR RUBY SLIPPERS! The most remarkable women’s business symposium in the southwest is BACK and IN PERSON! Come and see the magic behind the dreams and witness the new look of women-owned businesses.

The Women’s Business Border Center (a joint partnership of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration) is proud to present its one-of-a-kind, signature event! This event features women powerhouses speaking to the audience about how they dominate in business, workforce, banking and how they have overcome challenges, and how they traveled the road to success.

The event will take place at the Paso Del Norte Hotel at 10 Henry Trost ct El Paso, TX 79901 on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost for an all-day pass is $75 for Hispanic Chamber Members and $85 for Future Members. The pass includes breakfast, lunch, free beauty classes, skincare consultations, free make-up touches from Dior, a free professional headshot, a free grab bag, DJ Music, interactive questions, four breakout sessions, and a grand finale reception!

The “Dancing Backwards in High Heels,” Business Symposium was designed to promote the success of women entrepreneurs and to fire up those who dream of being their own boss. This symposium offers business owners and professionals from across the borderplex area a time to network with other professionals, It also showcases our region and recognizes outstanding women and their accomplishments.

The New Look of Small, Women, Minority, and Veteran Owned Businesses in the United States will feature women in business who have succeeded in balancing business and life. Natalie Madeira Cofield, SBA Assistant Administrator Office of Women’s Business Ownership.

The Chiefs in Heels Luncheon includes women from all over the country, responsible for overseeing billions of dollars such as Maria-Elena Giner, U.S. Commissioner of the International Boundary and Water Commission, the first Latina to be nominated as Commissioner of the IBWC, Diana Saavedra, New Superintendent, EPISD, The 30-year Veteran Educator. First Permanent Woman and Latina Superintendent in its more than 140-year history.

The MBDA Business Center El Paso will host the Grand Finale Reception and recognize 8 outstanding individuals that support minority businesses during the Minority Enterprise Development Med-Week Awards Ceremony.
