It’s that time of year again! Chile Roasting!!!! We are celebrating with Can you MAKE the heat? Salsa Challenge.
Enter online at www.ardovinos.com on our current events page, or in person at our office.
Contest Rules: Each participant may enter one(1) entry in each category. An entry in multiple categories is allowed. cost is $5.00 per entry Categories include: Hot Salsa Mild salsa sweet/fruity salsa Each entry should be prepared fresh in advance Contestants should bring decorations for their table and prepare to show a full recipe to public, to avoid allergic reactions Contestants must be present during competition hours and provide chips for public tasting All contestants must bring their salsa to assigned table position by 9:00am. We will start the tasting by 9:30am. Please keep your salsa safely cooled prior to and during competition . (cooler, Ice bath, etc.) Official judging will be done by panel. Prizes will be awarded to Best in Show in each category. (Hot, Mild, Fruity) People’s Choice Award will be determined by public tasting. Most Festive Award will be determined by market staff and vendors Awards will be presented at 11:30
