The mission of the Chican@/Latin@ Theatre Series, sponsored by the UTEP Department of Theatre and Dance, is to honor and celebrate the rich culture of the El Paso/Juarez/Las Cruces Borderplex. We seek to provide the community with rich, connected theatre that speaks to the past, present and future of our region. Through performances, play development, and outreach, the Chican@/Latin@ Theatre Series celebrates and cultivates our border culture through performance.
