Come join El Paso Water for a tour and learn about the history of the Robertson/Umbenhauer Water Treatment Plant – aka the Canal Water Treatment Plant – located in the historic Chihuahuita neighborhood. The plant treats water from the Rio Grande to drinking water standards and has been a vital part of El Paso Water’s successful water management strategy since 1943.
