El Paso Holocaust Museum & Study Center is proud to welcome Maria Spronk-Hughes, a hero of the Holocaust, and Yvonne Ward-Hughes, author of The Red Handkerchief: A Holocaust Memoir (Maria Spronk-Hughes’ story) on Thursday - February 11, 2016. The opening reception begins at 5:30 pm, and the presentation begins at 6:00 pm. A book signing of The Red Handkerchief will immediately follow the presentation. The book is available only at EPHM’s Bookstore. Please join us for this rare occasion to hear the first-hand account of a courageous woman who was a member of the Dutch resistance, a survivor of Nazi concentration camps, and an advocate for peace.
