The Border Learning Conference is a program of practical teaching demonstrations, round table discussions, and forums that address issues of learning along the border. This February, El Paso Community College will sponsor the Border Learning Conference. Professional educators involved with issues of teaching and learning along the border bring their concerns and expertise. This continuing, dynamic program presents teaching practices and explores issues. Educators who demand that education is about learning should join us. This year’s guest speakers include El Paso Times Investigative Coach and Editor Zahira Torres, UTEP Professor and author, Arvind Singhal, and Crossing Borders Award Winner Judge David Campos Guaderrama.
