El Paso, TX is unlike any other place I’ve ever been. The area is rich in history, they have a beautiful culture and authentic Mexican food that I still crave to this day. As the CEO of National Pastime Athletics, what I look for is: professionalism, attentiveness and friendliness. El Paso far exceeded all my expectations on what a host city is capable of doing. I attended a FAM tour, along with 40 other people, and they were extremely organized and you could see a glow in the staff when they were taking us through their city. Because of their love for El Paso, I felt it too! I’m currently in negotiations to bringing my cheerleading tournament to the Sun City in 2016!

“El Paso is absolutely amazing! I had always thought El Paso was a flat, dry, desert city, but I was wrong. It is beautiful. The mountains are breath taking! There is artwork decorating the entire city not just downtown. The trees were blooming and were gorgeous! There is so much to do in this beautiful city. A few of my favorites are: riding the tram to the top of the mountain; watching the Chihuahuas baseball game; playing on the Digi Wall; exploring the Art and History Museums; going on the hayride at Cattlemen’s Restaurant & Ranch; riding in the pedicabs; and watching the Broadway musical “Wicked” at the beautiful historic Plaza Theatre. The food was delicious! But, most of all, the hospitality shown by El Pasoans is absolutely astounding! This is a great place to have a meeting/conference. There are many venues for any group size. There are facilities to accommodate all needs whether it be an outdoor venue with an amazing view or an indoor hotel or convention facility. Take your pick. El Paso has it all! Everyone should experience El Paso, TX at least once in their life!”

I recently attended one of Visit El Paso’s FAM Tours and I can’t tell you how I impressed I was by their staff and the city as a whole. Having attended a substantial number of FAMs, I can honestly say that this was one of the most thoughtful, organized ones I’ve been on. Their attentive, courteous staff went out of their way to ensure that all 40 guests were having a great time and fully informed about the city’s history, attractions, meeting venues and other new developments. The Texas Association of Workforce Boards has committed to hosting a future event in El Paso and are looking forward to sharing El Paso’s top-rate hospitality. I highly encourage interested parties to sign up for one of their amazing FAM tours.

Finding a city in which to hold our annual week-long international juggling festival is not an easy task. Our list of requirements is long and fairly ridiculous, and we have a sharp focus on affordability along with the need for several high-quality venues, all in a compact, walkable area.
The Visit El Paso team performed a minor miracle for us in offering the right mix of affordability, accessibility and world-class venues in a beautiful international city.
Mike Sullivan, Future Festival Site Coordinator, International Jugglers Association
What a great FAM introduction to everything El Paso has to offer! So much of a city can be measured by the warmth of its hospitality and the enthusiasm of those who live there and El Paso is at the top of the list. Can't wait for our next trip back and a chance to see one of my favorite teams again!

Your entire group did an outstanding job with the FAM several weeks ago. We have been on several of these before and El Paso was definitely the best.
It was done in a first-class manner. Staff was tremendous, organization of the schedule was excellent, activities were very conducive to the groups you all invited and it was a lot of fun. I'm glad we took the invitation as it made an impression on us and gave us reason to seriously consider El Paso as a Conference destination. Thanks again.
Rusty Dowling, Texas High School Athletic Directors Association
Thank you for showing us the major revitalization efforts taking place throughout the city, hosting us for a fun ballgame at the new stadium, taking us to the Plaza Theater to experience Jersey Boys with a super enthusiastic crowd, hearing from an FBI agent about safety efforts/situation, visiting Fort Bliss and their Simulation Center, visiting ADP and understanding why they are a magnet for other companies, and watching the truly wonderful Lucchese Boots being hand made at the factory. Christmas is December 25th, but in El Paso, it was May 26th to May 30th!! We appreciate your hospitality, warm welcome, fun times, great people, upbeat attitude, over the top generosity, and genuine connections with so many in your group.
