P/T Vault Clerk

Essential Duties:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform general functions and assists Food and Beverage Concession / Retail Manager.
• Cash Sales Reconciliation in day-to-day operations of the department to include Daily Vault Reconciliation.
• Maintains Cash Control within the Vault Room by following set Policy and Procedures.
• Completing Bank Deposits and arranging for their pick up thru security and finance.
• Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
• Maintains Cash Control within the Vault Room by following set Policy and Procedures.
• Maintain organized file system for department, including accounting records.
• Assist with departmental projects.
• Maintains department statistics, ensuring that data is current and correct.
• Creates various reports, utilizing database(s)
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to this job
• Considerable knowledge of cashiering practices and procedures.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
• Knowledge of service standards, guest relations, etiquette and customer relations
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Able to take role of leader, and work well with people in a team environment
• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
• Able remain flexible and adjust to situation as they may occur
• Ability to work with little or no supervision

Qualifications:

• Food Handler Certified
• TABC Certified
• Must be able to pass background check to include credit status.
• Experience with BYPASS, ALOHA or point of sale system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Travel negligible
• Requires ability to work extended and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling and squatting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Environment:

• Office as well as Banquet and event bar setting/restaurant, concessions
• Some exposure to warehouse and/or kitchen environment
• During events may be exposed to moderate to extreme noise.
