This private club provides golfers with a nine hole course and medium-sized greens with just enough slope to test your putting skills. The fairways are bordered with an abundance of foliage and trees. The Anthony golf course opened in 1950.

Ascarate Municipal Golf Course

Boasting more than 300 sunny days a year; El Paso is home to the Golf Course at Ascarate Park. An amazing course for year-round play and centrally located in the heart of the city, the golf course offers those that play many ways to enjoy the sunshine along with a challenging yet rewarding course. The 18-hole course at the Municipal Golf facility features 6,565 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course also has a nine-hole short course, or practice course called the Delta Nine. The course has a clubhouse, putting green, driving range as well as space for meetings. Designed by George Hoffman, the Ascarate golf course opened in 1955. The golf course is situated alongside Ascarate Lake, which covers 48 surface acres, including a small lake at 4 acres. The Ascarate Golf course has a rich history where generations of players have learned the game. Playing at Ascarate Golf Course is a tradition for many El Paso families and many that come to visit El Paso.

Butterfield Trail Golf Club

Designed by world renowned architect Tom Fazio this beautiful course is sure to meet all your golfing needs. The spacious 8, 800 square foot club house located north of the 18th hole features indoor and outdoor patio seating which can accommodate large groups. Guests can enjoy our ͞Salida del Sol Restaurant͟ which features a full service restaurant and bar in a comfortable and friendly seating. The History of Butterfield Trail dates back to 1858 when the Butterfield Overland Mail Company operated for three years carrying mail and passengers across the country from Missouri to San Francisco. More than 700 miles of the almost 2,800 mile mail route ran across the state of Texas. Part of the original trail used still runs through the Butterfield Trail golf course property today, thus providing the perfect name for our emerald gem designed by world-renown golf course architect, Tom Fazio. Modern travelers can still view some of the same landscapes in West Texas, and follow exact segments of the route, reaching historical markers, all while feeling some nostalgia for the historic Texas frontier. When playing golf, you can still view remnants of the original Butterfield Trail adjacent to Hole #8 on the Butterfield Trail Golf Course.

Coronado Country Club

Located on the Franklin Mountains in West El Paso, Texas, Coronado Golf & Country Club offers a truly unique country club experience. This year round 18 hole private club was built in 1956 and sits at an elevation of 4,700 feet, each hole is different from the one before, from elevated tees to finely groomed greens, challenging every club in your bag. Lone Star Golf Course

Designed by Marvin Ferguson in 1975, Lone Star Golf Club is a classic, traditional style golf course, complete with tree lined fairways. Although the course layout may appear flat in terrain, subtle breaks in the greens and fairways, and strategically placed sandtraps will test even the best players. A fully lit driving range and two lighted chipping/putting greens, allow you to practice at your convenience, day or night. Lone Star has become The Public Golf Course of El Paso, yet one will feel as if they were at a premiere private club. Between the friendly staff, the well groomed greens, and the excellent food in our restaurant, one might say they have found an Oasis in the desert.

Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course

Rave reviews keep coming for this championship desert-style 27-hole golf course which has been given 4 1/2 stars and ranked the second-best municipal golf course in the nation by Golf Digest in 1991. Travel & Leisure magazine placed it in the Top 100 courses under $100. There’s a complete practice facility with driving range, chipping, pitching and putting greens. Located in northeast El Paso, at 12000 McCombs, 20 minutes from the airport or downtown.

Opened in 2000, this spanking new course offers challenging golf and spectacular scenery amidst the mesquite and brush covered desert. It won a Best New Course nomination from Golf Digest in 2000 and holds a 3-1/2 star ranking in its Places to Play list. "Incredible views ... tough greens ... every hole a challenge," Golf Digest says.
