The Family Medicine Interest Group from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at El Paso is coordinating with Dolphin Terrace Elementary School in the Northeast of El Paso to sponsor the 6th Annual SUNS Health Fair. The SUNS Health Fair is designed to reach out to those in the community to promote health and wellness. We will be providing FREE health care services including immunizations, blood pressure and glucose checks, glaucoma and dental screenings, bicycle safety education, and health care information. Last year we had around 250 adults and children attend and we are expected to increase that number this year. There will also be over 50 local businesses around El Paso that will have booths for health promotion. This year’s fair is scheduled to occur February 20, 2016.
