El Paso is getting its own wine festival.

Plans for the El Paso Wine festival were announced Thursday.

The festival will take place at the Vista Hills Country Club.

It will feature wines from all over the world.

“You know, wine festivals are fun; I’ve done several before in the past. Something like this is just great for people to come together, enjoy some music, some food, wine, beer, I mean who doesn’t have a good time at a wine festival,” said event organizer, Christian Alcantar.

The two-day festival will be on August 27 and 28.

Tickets are currently $20. The early bird special ends on July 20th.

After that tickets will be $25.

Both these tickets are good for both days and comes with a wine glass and 5 samples.

There will be over 250 wines to sample and 100 craft beers.

There are $35 Vip tickets available. Those tickets are only good for one day.

There will be a grand reserve tasting for $75 and are good for one day only.
