Sanctuary got it’s start as Hudson Valley’s premier Iron Maiden tribute act in 1998. Then in 2001, Sanctuary expanded to audiences throughout the Tri-State & New England area, offering a stage show like no other. The shows have various backdrops and custom banners, blacklighting, simulated flame effects, fog machines and more. Anyone familiar with Iron Maiden, knows about their official mascot “Eddie”, and Sanctuary always has some type of “Eddie” in a live performance. Eddie usually makes his appearance as the Trooper, Ed Hunter, The Mummy, Fear of the Dark or The Grim Reaper.. there’s also a giant 15 foot show closer of “Eddie” either as the Mummy & Fear of the Dark. To date, there aren’t many Iron Maiden tribute bands that offer these fan favorite acts. Our goal is to deliver an accurate and authentic Iron Maiden experience for all Iron Maiden fans to enjoy!
